Greenways Primary School

Admissions Arrangements Consultation for 2021 - 2022

Greenways Primary School  is returning to its previously published limit of 120. The increase limit to 150 was to support the additional places required in the borough for the last few years however the local authority have determined that the demand for additional places in the central Southend area has reduced and therefore Greenways Primary is reverting to the limit of 120. Reverting to the limit of 120 will not displace or disadvantage parents in the catchment area or pupils with siblings at the school.

Parents and members of the community are invited to make any comments or observations by 28th November 2019. This constitutes the consultation under the requirements of the legislation.

Applications for admission to the school must be made in accordance with the co-ordinated admission scheme operated by the child’s home local authority. For children resident in Southend-on-Sea this is published in the Primary Admissions Booklet available on the website of Southend-on-Sea Borough Council. Our proposed admission arrangements are provided in appendix 1.

Responses to the consultation can be made through the online survey available in the link here.
